NEAL GOODMAN Selected TO Serve as Thought leader to GUIDE SHRM'S Cultural Competence Initiatives

Neal Goodman was honored with an invitation from the Office of Diversity & Inclusion for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) to serve as one of five thought leaders to design state-of-the-art cultural competence initiatives for the organizations of the future.

The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) selected Global Dynamics Inc. to deliver a program called "Taking Diversity Global: Challenges, Strategies and Best Practices" at the 2010 SHRM Diversity Conference in New Orleans on Oct. 13th, 2010. Participants learned about ways to overcome the challenges international corporations face when taking their diversity programs global. Neal Goodman was quoted on German's attaining a diversity mindset on Nov. 9th in a SHRM Diversity article called "German Leader Leaves Diversity Practitioners Wondering."  Additionally, on Nov. 15 SHRM Diversity published an article written by Goodman called "New French Pension Rules Have Little Impact on Expats Working in France." 

GDI EXECUTIVE TO SPEAK ON BEST PRACTICES IN INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNEE CROSS-CULTURAL TRAINING AT 2011 FIGT CONFERENCE

Families in Global Transition (FIGT) invited GDI to lead a session at the 2011 FIGT Conference on Best Practices in International Assignee Cross-Cultural Training and Support. This very interactive session will examine the latest best practices that contribute to a successful cross-cultural training program, including training methodologies, use of technologies, social networks, and support services that promote the successful integration of international assignees and their families into their new host country and their successful repatriation back home. The conference will be March 17-19 in Washington DC.

JOHN SCHIEMAN INVITED TO SPEAK ON LEADING AND WORKING IN A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT AT SHRM ANNUALL CONFERENCE

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) invited GDI's Vice President of Global Programs & Marketing, John Schieman, to lead a session at the SHRM 2011 Annual Conference on Leading, Managing, and Working Effectively in a Virtual Environment. The conference will be June 26 to 29 in Las Vegas.

NEAL GOODMAN TO SPEAK ON BEST PRACTICES IN Consultant-client relationships in Cross Cultural Training at IMI's 12th Annual ConferencE

The Intercultural Management Institute (IMI) invited Neal Goodman to deliver a session on Best Practices in Consultant-Client Relationships in Cross Cultural Training at their 12th Annual Conference on Intercultural Relations.  Specific issues will be examined including conceptualizing project needs, RFP’s, contracting, needs assessment, evaluations, follow-up and building the relationship. This session will also demonstrate a “best practice” created in partnership between a cross-cultural training organization and its clients to achieve global competency using Knowledge Management. The conference will be March 10-11 in Washington DC.

GDI Selected for New 2011 Training Magazine Column on Training Best Practices

Launching with the January/February 2011 issue of Training Magazine, Global Dynamics will author a new column on Training Best Practices.
