A
Note from the President
Dear Friends,
Welcome to GlobalExchange™.
You are receiving this publication because of the important
role you play in achieving cross-cultural success in your
organization. GlobalExchange™ aims to
provide you with insights that promote cross-cultural competencies
for leadership of global organizations. Beginning with this
issue, you will receive a new issue bimonthly
at no cost. All we ask in return is your feedback and ideas.
Please
share any cases, questions, critical incidents or other
ideas that you would like to share with other global leaders.
Our readers are a very select group of people who wish to
maximize success and learn how to leverage the synergies of
working across cultures. As you will see, this issue includes
several articles pertaining to building cross cultural competence in global organizations,
the challenges of outsourcing operations overseas and creating global teams.
If you know anyone who shares your commitment to cross cultural learning, please
have him or her write to us to subscribe. Again, there is never a fee.
I hope
you like the new design of GlobalExchange™ and its contents. We appreciate
your feedback and we are
also accepting articles, notes and case studies to include
in future issues.
Send submissions to globalexchange@global-dynamics.com with “submission” in
the subject line, preferably in Microsoft Word format.
On behalf of myself, the staff
of Global Dynamics, and our over 200 associates all over the
world, we want to wish you a wonderful holiday season and
peaceful, healthy and successful New Year.
