John G. SchiemanJohn Schieman's responsibilities include the management of Global Dynamics Inc. Knowledge Management systems and technical processes; business development, development of a Global Virtual Leadership webinar series, and management of client relationships. Mr. Schieman brings more than 20 years of executive experience working internationally and with global clients.
Prior to joining Global Dynamics Inc., John was an Executive Consultant with the IBM Corporation, advising companies on how to solve business issues and identify new business opportunities. His areas of expertise include knowledge management, business transformation, customer service management, and e-business.
In this position, Mr. Schieman participated on an IBM International Thought Leadership Study, interviewing more than 100 company executives and conducting workshops in the US and Europe. The study assessed e-business "best practices" and published a series of forward-looking e-business scenarios. Mr. Schieman also managed engagements in Switzerland, Malaysia, South Africa, and Denmark and established a quality assurance operation in Argentina.
Previously, John was Vice President of Information Technology at Prudential Financial, where he established an information technology outsourcing operation in India to support the Year 2000 effort and system development.
Mr. Schieman has spoken at the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) International Systems Forum, the Innovative Systems, Inc. International User Conferences and AEGON University on the topics of International Customer Relationship Management and International Electronic Commerce and Communications. Most recently, Mr. Schieman has spoken at ASTD, ConExpo, and IASA on the topic of Effective Cross-Cultural Marketing and Sales.
Mr. Schieman received a Masters Degree in Economics from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics. He also is a Life Insurance Marketing Association (LIMRA) Fellow.
