Dayna Klein

Vice President, Global Programs and Marketing

 

Dayna Klein, VP of Global Programs and Marketing with Global Dynamics, Inc., developed a keen understanding of global organizational development over the course of an impressive career working with numerous Fortune 500 companies spanning the international business sectors of law, technology, health care, international trade and cross-cultural training. Her own personal application of cultural competence was of significant use earlier in Ms. Klein's career when she was the sole employee appointed to work in her company’s Lisbon subsidiary to solve a US export regulatory issue with computer sales.

Prior to re-joining GDI, Dayna was the Spanish language instructor at Evergreen Country Day School, where she developed unique e-learning components for the curriculum, including creating videos, developing a You Tube channel for the language program and connecting with a school in Madrid for cultural exchange lessons.

Among Dayna's intercultural accomplishments, she served as a panel member along with the Mexican consulate to discuss trade agreements at Ramapo College in NJ.  Additionally, she served as ambassador to the Massachusetts / Uruguay trade symposium in Boston, MA.

Ms. Klein received her undergrad in Spanish from Framingham State University, studied in Spain with the University of San Fransisco, and received her master’s in Intercultural Studies – Corporate Training, from Lesley University in Cambridge, Ma, where wrote “Cross-Cultural Training and It’s Effect on the Bottom Line” for her master’s thesis. She studied at Harvard for Portuguese.

A native Bostonian, Dayna now lives in Evergreen, Colorado where she enjoys the great outdoors with her two active boys and her husband. She has lived and traveled in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Brazil and Mexico. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and tutors students in Spanish.
